One of Kerry's "slow learners"...

How ironic, that on the very day that the blubbering boob fom Boston would spew his latest volley toward the military he so obviously loathes, I would receive my invitation to my nephew's commissioning into the
United States Marine Corps, (what a moron).
After graduating at the top of his class from a prestigious Virginia University in May 2006, this volunteer will be in Marine Corps Flight Training until he is called, as his father was, and his father before him, to defend the very land that the Senator is so quick to disparage.
Prior to my nephew's commissioning, he will undergo a rite of passage and commitment to God and country, that I'm quite sure Mr. Kerry would find difficult at best to comprehend. For it is an honorable rite, that is traditional to warriors preparing for the defense of those at home. All foreign to this insect of a man.
I've included the sequence of events the night before, leading to the day of this brave young man's transition from ordinary man, to Marine. (Or perhaps as the Senator would describe, from moron to lemming). Oh how I mock the Demoncrat Party for tolerating this pantload for as long as they have!
What follows, is a copy of my invitation, with the locations, and other information excluded. No one in my family, extended family, or associated circle of friends wants to risk the Boston buffoon showing up to defend his position!

Chalice with engraved name of Candidate and date of Commissioning,
Presented by Mother of Candidate
from which he receives Communion and
over which he pledges an Oath of Fealty, Fortitude and Faith;

Chain and Medal of Patron, to be blessed in morning and worn lifelong;
Presented by sibling or wife;

Sword of Service, Bars of Officer Rank and Emblem of Service
Presented by Father of Candidate;

Embroidered American Flag;
Presented by oldest Family Veteran,
to be full-opened during ceremonies and encased thereafter.


During Vigil Meditation Candidate Considers, Determines and Composes:

His personal life and service Motto, Oath, and Prayer, and his
Personal Pledge, not to be made public or shared, except with God.

Order of Events:

Pre-Midnight Candle Lighting, Benediction, Sermon and Prayer
Eve of Commissioning
Officiated by Priest and Attended by close Family only.
Items of Faith Fortitude and Fealty laid upon Alter by Candidate
Silent Vigil Meditation, Composition and Fast begin at Midnight;
Vigil Meditation ends at Dawn, at about 6 A.M.
Candidate Blessing and Anointing with Holy Oil by Priest.
Christian Candle extinguished at end of anointing by Priest.

Mass and or Communion follows Vigil Meditation and
Precedes Commissioning Ceremony.

Motto determined by Candidate to be engraved upon Sword,
Prayer and Oath to be presented by Candidate in Church during Mass.

Mass or Communion Service
Music to include:
Entrance - Mansions of the Lord;
Communion: How Great Thou Art;

Recessional: Onward, Christian Soldiers

This may seem a bit foreign to many reading this, but I assure you, it is not only accepted, but endorsed by people of good faith and honor. Perhaps that's why it would be unacceptable to the likes of the Senator from Massachusetts.
